Farm Walk series this season Each month we invite our community\, partners

Topics for discussion will include\; Spring crop establishment Drilling D

o look at the LiveWheat Legacy winter wheat trial\, LiveOat winter oat and
LiveBean winter bean strips Tim has drilled and anything else attendees a
re interested in looking at on the farm. Tim farms 880ha in Hampshire near
Basingstoke\, on mostly chalk loam soils. The typical rotation is four ye
ars diverse herbal leys followed by four years of cash cropping\, having e
ither a wheat or an oat focus. Tim has a mobile dairy on the farm which is
as important as the arable enterprise. Although relatively new to Organic
