Spring drilling may not yet have started but it is hopefully just be around the corner. Soil temperatures are creeping higher and we've even had a couple of days that feel like spring!
Planting records are really useful in helping us understand what has been drilled (or will be) and gives a clearer picture of what the upcoming harvest may provide than the Defra data that is historic. We have a complete lack of supply information with no work done by AHDB in this area so the more complete a picture we can have the better able we are to inform buyer and so reduce UK reliance on imported supplies. All information is treated in confidence and only discussed in aggregated terms.
